These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Chupi (“the App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction).
• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

2. Accounts

• You must create an account to use certain features.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Chupi Pro is offered as a paid subscription managed via Apple App Store In-App Purchases. Billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled by Apple. Refunds are subject to Apple’s policies.

4. Content Ownership and Use

Original Rights: Recipes, articles, and other materials imported from external websites remain the sole property of their respective authors and publishers.

User-Authored Content: If you create and save your own recipes, notes, or grocery lists within Chupi, you retain ownership of that content.

Chupi’s Role: Chupi does not claim any rights or ownership over recipes imported from third-party sources. The app simply formats, organizes, and stores such content for your personal use.

Content Removal Requests: If you are a rights holder and believe your content has been imported into Chupi without permission, you may contact us at [email protected] to request removal. We will act on valid requests promptly.

Usage Restrictions: You agree not to redistribute or commercially exploit imported recipes or other third-party content unless you have permission from the original rights holder.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal or unauthorized purposes.
• Copy, redistribute, or exploit third-party content beyond personal use.
• Reverse engineer or misuse the App’s software or AI systems.
• Upload harmful, abusive, or malicious content.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

• Chupi’s software, design, and features are our intellectual property.
• Imported recipes remain the property of the original creators or publishers.
• User-authored content remains the property of the user.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United States (Washington State).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
